EDR is seeking a team-oriented GIS Technician based in our Syracuse, Rochester, or Albany, NY offices. The qualified candidate would be utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) software to provide an understanding of certain variables in a given geographic location. Candidate will be responsible for extracting data from GIS software and reliable data sources and using varying analysis methods to arrive at results. Responsibilities will also include providing maps and data sets to Senior Analysts and Project Managers as requested to supplement project-specific analyses. Candidate must have knowledge of GIS software and technology and will work in conjunction with staff in many other disciplines.


The anticipated base pay range of $45,000-$50,000 per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
