In addition to teaching responsibilities, our teacher positions serve as academic advisors. The positions involve active collaboration with content area and studio teachers. Communication and collaboration with parents is also an important responsibility. All Upper School teachers share in covering routine duties, attending weekly faculty meetings, and engaging in professional learning on a regular basis.

• Presents lessons in a comprehensive manner to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
• Collaboration with other grade level content area and studio teachers
• Communication and collaboration with parents
• Routine duties, meetings and engaging in professional learning on a regular basis
