About The Organization
County of Santa Clara Health System (CSCHS) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. Santa Clara Valley Healthcare, an agency of CSHS, is comprised of three hospitals: Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - a 691-bed central hospital), O’Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 licensed beds), and Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH – 93 licensed beds). About The Department
The Department of Surgery is a dynamic department which consists of community and employed surgeons in general surgery, neurosurgery, urology, podiatry etc. Allied Health Professionals are an integral part of our team. The department members serve as teaching faculty residents and medical students.
About The Position
The successful candidate will be BC/BE by the American Board of Surgery. The position includes the provision of acute care general surgery services, as well as the care of a wide range of outpatient surgical patients. Robotic surgical system is available at the hospital, including a well-structured team. This position is ideal for highly motivated surgeons who want to take advantage of growth opportunities to build a general surgery practice at SLRH to meet the increasing need for care in the greater Gilroy/Morgan Hill area.
