General Superintendent - Multifamily

We are looking for an experienced General Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction and multifamily construction to join our team. The General Superintendent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the project, upholding safety standards, and ensuring that high-quality work is delivered on schedule and within budget. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

The General Superintendent is responsible for coordinating, directing, and supervising contractors, laborers, vendors, and all other personnel involved in a project. The Superintendent must have a thorough understanding of all facets of construction operations, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day activities on the project site
• Ensure that safety standards are upheld and that all personnel follow safety protocols
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and other personnel working on the project
• Ensure that work is completed within set timelines and budgets
• Address any issues that arise on the project site in a timely manner
• Maintain open communication with the project manager and other team members
• Assist with the development of project schedules and budgets
• Ensure that all construction activities are completed in accordance with all applicable regulations and codes
• Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction, with a focus on multifamily and commercial construction
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction operations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously
