· Provide comprehensive counsel and legal support to clients in matters of Family Law including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and other related areas.
· Analyse, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents relevant to Family Law.
· Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate on their behalf.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NJ State and Federal Laws relevant to Family Law.
· Foster strong relationships with clients, offering them reassurance and empathetic advice during stressful times.
· Contribute positively to the Williams Law Group culture.
· Actively manage a case load of Family Law matters, meeting a defined monthly billable hour requirement and collected dollar budget.
· Manage and delegate legal work to a para-professional to facilitate that professional’s meeting his or her billable hour requirement and collected dollar budget.
Qualifications
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
· Admitted to the NJ State Bar and in good standing.
· 5+ years of experience practicing Family Law
· Trial experience.
· Demonstrated proficiency in handling sensitive family matters with discretion and integrity.
