We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and proven General Manager for our Medical and Recreational Dispensary. In this high-profile leadership position, you will oversee all operational aspects of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, establishing and meeting sales targets, and leading a diverse team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to contribute significantly to our growth and success.
Responsibilities
As our General Manager, you will be responsible for the following
Oversee the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with all state and local laws and regulations related to the sale of medical and recreational cannabis.
Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies and targets to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Provide leadership and direction to the Assistant General Manager, Inventory Manager, Supervisors, Keyholders, and Budtenders.
Identify staffing needs, recruit top talent, and manage performance to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused team.
Manage budtenders, ensuring they are adequately trained, motivated, and equipped to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and educate customers and staff on the benefits and uses of various cannabis products.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the General Manager position will possess the following qualifications
Must be 21 years or older.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a dispensary or similar environment.
Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies and meet or exceed targets.
Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of cannabis products and the cannabis industry, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
