General Manager - Clinical Research/Medical Devices

Our client, a global, billion dollar, materials testing company is looking for a General Manager for one of their most exciting labs in the US! This is an opportunity to lead a CRO specializing in the testing of medical devices and wearables on humans. This lab works with very large and prominent clients- testing some of the most popular & important devices in our world today! Ideal candidates will have a clinical background, and experience leading a CRO focused on medical devices.

This role is onsite in Boulder, CO. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. The client is also happy to provide relocation assistance for candidates located elsewhere!

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for a CRO, driving and forecasting growth
• Oversee all operational duties- sales, quality, clinical operations, staffing
• Get involved with high-profile client meetings
• Manage a growing team of 40
• Strategize alongside leadership team to optimize & grow this lab!

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of management experience in the medical device field, with some of that experience in a CRO (contract resource organization)
• Experience in a lab that tests on human subjects
• P/L management is a plus- not required
• Charismatic & involved leader- energized to drive growth
• Clinical background highly preferred

This role pays a competitive base salary, bonus, stock options, car allowance and other incentives.
