About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic General Manager to oversee and expand our portfolio of rental properties in the Chicago area. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining high productivity levels, and executing company initiatives. This role requires proficiency in sales processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to continually enhance our services.

Responsibilities

Achieve expansion goals by launching new locations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, managers, and brokerage communities.

Negotiate contracts and extensions for properties.

Conduct inspections of newly launched homes in the local market.

Ensure a satisfactory occupancy rate.

Manage city P&L and optimize portfolio performance.

Collaborate closely with headquarters and various departments including sales, business development, success, pricing, and BI.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.

2-3 years of experience in Business Development.

Broker's License Preferred But Not Required.

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability and reliability.

High emotional intelligence and refined sales skills.

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Resilient under stress and pressure, available for emergencies.

Natural Leadership Skills With Experience In Managing People.

Experience in residential real estate (business development, property management, brokerage).

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Comprehensive understanding of how individual assets affect financial performance.

Positive and cooperative attitude, capable of working with multiple teams simultaneously.

Proficiency with tech solutions such as CoStar, Trello, GSuite, Front, Slack, etc.
