Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced Regional General Manager to lead our Sortation / Pickup and Delivery Operations team in Grand Prairie, TX. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our pickup and delivery department, including communication with drivers, customers, terminal managers, and internal and external teams. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving issues and ensuring timely settlements and accurate billing. You will also oversee multiple locations and lead by example to establish a culture of excellence in all aspects of operations

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the Pickup and Delivery Operations team, ensuring all loads are sorted, picked up, and delivered in a timely fashion
  • Oversee daily operations, including communication with drivers, customers, terminal managers, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely settlement of all bills, including tracking and reporting on revenue and costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during daily operations.
  • Create a positive work environment by fostering open communication, trust, and teamwork among team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Work closely with IT team to troubleshoot technology issues affecting daily operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving operations efficiency, and driving results-oriented performance.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 20% of the time


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday with occasional
  • Weekends Time will be TBD
