Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead the operations in Houston, while reporting directly to the Managing Director of the USA.
Manage and grow the operations by developing a clear strategy, managing performance, and allocating resources effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven senior management experience, overseeing teams of 50+ FTE.
Bachelor's degree in logistics or management (preferred).
In-depth knowledge of the Houston logistics market and experience managing a logistics company.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management, including sales, warehousing, and customer service.
Knowledge of business principles like strategic planning, resource allocation, and quality control.
Experience with contracted distribution services and warehouse racking systems is a plus.
Adaptable to tight schedules and high activity levels, with strong multi-tasking skills.
Strong analytical skills for using operational and financial data (KPIs) for business decisions.
Resourceful with excellent commercial and entrepreneurial skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
Results-oriented, with strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
Willing to travel locally and regionally on short notice.
Flexible to work after hours and with partners in different time zones.
