Job Description

We’re hiring General Managers for a fast-food franchise in Northeast Ohio. Salary starts around $60,000, based on experience it can go higher.

The General Manager oversees the restaurant's daily operations, manages team members, and upholds high customer service standards. General Managers are scheduled for 45 hours per week (five 9-hour shifts) and must be available 7 days a week.

Key Responsibilities of the General Manager:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the restaurant team, fostering a positive work environment and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Operations Management: Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Train new team members on policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance.
  • Customer Service: Always ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing financial aspects of the restaurant, including cash handling, sales tracking, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure adherence to McDonald's standards. Take proactive measures to address any issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Assistant Managers to achieve restaurant goals and objectives. Foster teamwork and effective communication among staff members.

Requirements of the General Manager:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • High school diploma/GED is required.
