Key Responsibilities: 

• Play a pivotal role in the pre-opening process, including team recruitment, and staff training. 
• Develop and implement operational systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and profitability. 
• Manage staff scheduling and payroll, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 
• Oversee all aspects of guest service, ensuring exceptional experiences that exceed expectations. 
• Manage food and beverage costs, including inventory control and vendor relations. 
• Work with the Director of Sales and Events to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and brand awareness. 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. 
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for staff. 
• Analyze sales data and reports using Excel to identify areas for improvement and growth.  

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment. Experience as an opening General Manager of a restaurant is a plus! 
• Proven track record of success in driving sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a team. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, staff, and vendors. 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.  
• Understanding of the financials, including P&Ls, Product Mixes, and other key metrics.  
• Proficient in restaurant management software, including Toast (required). 
• Knowledge of Sling scheduling and Compeat a plus. 
• Passion for high-quality food, innovative cocktails, and exceptional service. 
• A background in cocktails and beverage knowledge is preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.
