General Education Adjunct Faculty - Remote | WFH

We are science division invites applications for part-time faculty members to join our dedicated General Education faculty community. Reporting to the program's manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our students. We prioritize creating a culture of educational excellence, ensuring superior student learning outcomes in science education.

Key Responsibilities

Teach on-campus courses, primarily in Biology, utilizing established syllabi and educational resources.

Foster a learning-centered environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Assess student work promptly and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain accurate records, submit grades on time, and adhere to academic policies.

Participate in programmatic shared governance.

Qualifications

Graduate-level or terminal degree in a science discipline from an accredited institution.

Minimum 15 semester credit hours (or equivalent) in the subject area.

Preferably two or more years of experience teaching adult learners in higher education.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work within deadlines.

Additional Details

Must be able to commute to at least one campus; multiple campus availability preferred.

Salary: $35-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.

Employment contingent upon background check completion and verification of work experience.

Standard office/classroom/lab or clinical setting work environment.
