Job Summary

The Game Day Technology Manager is responsible for managing Large Public Venue clients from implementation through ongoing account management. This individual will serve as Atomic Data’s liaison between clients, vendors, and other partners of the client. This position requires interfacing with internal personnel and clients. Understanding all aspects of Technology from networking, virtual servers, workstations, security, and compliance is mandatory. Explaining Technology to C-Level executives and having technical knowledge to have meaningful conversations with engineers is an expectation of this position. Experience working with Professional Sports Teams or Venue management / operators is preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Understanding client’s technology goal, strategy, and helping formulate direction and implementation plan
  • Actively involved in budgeting, estimation, and planning of all aspects of technology for Large Public Venue.
  • Ability to have conversation with Technical Architects, Security/Compliance teams, and other technical staff to share project objective, plan, and implement solutions
  • Represent the best interest of the client / LPV owner in all aspects of technology in discussion with partners
  • Track project budget, milestones, risks, dependencies, and issues to arrive at alternate solutions to meet project objective
  • Critical thinking and problem solving on day-to-day basis to resolve unanticipated challenges
  • Report to Client’s C level executives on project progress, challenges, and risks


Qualifications

  • 5 years of managing complex clients spread between multiple teams, vendors, and technology systems. (Preferred)
  • Exceptional critical thinker, mental agility, and the ability to influence others.
  • Speak clearly and communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to lead long brainstorming sessions with client and internal teams.
  • Work amidst continuous interruptions and changing priorities while being results focused.
  • Ability to influence CXO level leadership of clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and from Atomic Data’s facilities and client sites as needed.
