A leading Financial Trading company are looking for a ‘Futures Broker’ to join their team.

The compensation includes a competitive base salary along with an excellent commission structure dependant on experience.

This is a permanent role.

Working from the Chicago, Illinois office 5 days per week.

You must have an existing book of business (Futures clients) to be considered for this role.

This is an excellent role for someone who is looking to develop their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a strong book of clients that fit the organizations culture.
  • Dedicate time to cold calls and connecting with new/prospective clients.
  • Execute trades on behalf of clients in futures markets, including commodities, currencies, and financial derivatives.
  • Provide market analysis, research, and insights to clients to assist them in making informed trading decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, news, and developments to anticipate potential opportunities and risks for clients.
  • Educate clients on futures trading products, risk management techniques, and trading strategies.
  • Monitor client accounts and portfolios, providing timely updates and recommendations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all trading activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, compliance, and technology to enhance client experience and streamline processes.
  • Continuously strive to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

The skills, experience and knowledge you will bring should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Series 3, CFA, CMT) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in futures trading, brokerage, or related financial services roles.
  • Proven experience with cold calls and networking.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, including futures products, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings, to accommodate
  • global market hours.
