The role of the classroom teacher is to provide quality standards-based, assess and encourage student progress, and manage an effective learning environment to maximize student achievement.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
A valid North Dakota teaching license from North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board or the ability to obtain one.
Performance Responsibilities
Facilitates/coordinates a rigorous curriculum.
Assesses and provides for differentiation to assure student progress while managing the learning environment.
Prepares teaching plans, demonstration plans, and teaching materials for all classes.
Prepares and evaluates teaching schedule, curriculum, and teaching calendars.
Coordinates, maintains inventories, and keeps record of the materials and equipment for classroom.
Maintains professional development competence through on-going educational and professional development training, as required for certification.
Maintains prompt and professional communication with parents.
Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.

This position constitutes a certified position with the Stanley Community Public School District.
Salary And Benefits
Base Salary: $41,000
Fringe Benefit: $9,600
Personal Days: 3 per year
Sick Days: 10 per year
