Furniture Assembler/Driver Details
Temp-to-Hire position
$ 17.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Saturday from 09:30am to 06:00pm )
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
Completing paper and electronic documents per company procedures
Preparing furniture, appliances and mattresses for delivery
Ability to operate a pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Maintains high activity/productivity level
Other operational duties as assigned by manager
Furniture Assembler/Driver Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
Read, write, and communicate in English
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Spend Time Standing/walking for 8 hours a day
Spend Time Bending or Twisting the Body
