As a Grain Operations Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Grain Operations Logistics team. You'll have the chance to work closely with our experienced team, learning and honing your skills while making a meaningful impact on the success of our operation. Responsibilities will include receiving, handling and loading of raw materials and finished goods at our Clymers/Logansport, IN Ethanol Plant.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual. Applicants must be flexible as work schedule/hours may vary based on business needs. This position will be set on a HYBRID schedule.
You could be scheduled any variation of these shifts Monday-Friday:
9:00a-5:00p
10:00a-6:00p
11:00a-7:00p
12:00p-8:00p
Position Overview
This position is responsible for performing grain operations activities in the areas of inspection and general operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection activities such as weighing trucks, gathering product samples, product testing and evaluating product quality
Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to delivery drivers and perform data entry of delivery details
Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalate issues as necessary
Operate various types of mobile equipment
Perform general housekeeping activities
What is expected of you and others at this level
Minimal job-related experience
Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Valid Driver license
Basic computer and data entry skills
Previous grain operations experience preferred
Physical Requirements And Working Environment
Work is performed in a 24x7 Ethanol production facility.
This facility is well maintained in a clean and safe manner. The Andersons Inc. is dedicated to serving their customers, communities, employees, and shareholders well.
Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time
Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds
Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet
Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
Working conditions could include; dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
The company provides personal protective Equipment, including work shoes and some winter gear.
