5 years experience in maintenance and repair of light duty or commercial vehicles.
Working knowledge of software tools used to diagnose vehicle faults.
Experience with hybrid and electric powertrain fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with fuel cell, electric powertrain, or internal combustion engine testing and diagnostics
Class A CDL to facilitate FCS on road evaluation preferred.
Primary interface between Fuel Cell System Field Service Engineer and matters related to the deployed Fuel Cell Systems (FCS) and the Hydrogen Storage Systems (HSS)
Conduct FCS and HSS testing in vehicles, document findings, and communicate results and observations to the fuel cell system development team.
Work collaboratively with the Fuel Cell System Field Service Engineer and the Vehicle Aftersales and Service Team to maximize uptime of customer and trial vehicles.
Support development of FCS and HSS service processes and test procedures
Communicate FCS and HSS status to Vehicle Aftersales and Service Team
Conduct FCS service and maintenance procedures on customer vehicles as available, potentially after-hours
Guide contract service technicians conducting FCS and vehicle service.
Work with Fuel Cell System Field Service Engineer to build and maintain a standard FCS service toolkit.
Support to development vehicles in Bolingbrook, and the test track, and in field trials.
Travel up to 75% may be required.
