Supporting a web development team of three developers
Nonprofit organization with an outstanding mission
Looking to begin toward the middle/end of July
Responsibilities
Partner with development team to develop and build new page templates and functionalities that serve both editorial and promotional content needs.
Works with team to improve page content presentation (and architecture when needed) for a better user experience and more conversions (new memberships, membership renewals, donations, merchandise purchases, chapter affiliation).
Updates content in HTML5, CSS, and other webpage languages.
We anticipate there will be regular blog posts, online forms, and content updates across multiple websites
Cross department work will include partnering with Human Resources on new job postings and employee listings and the Grants Department on RFPs.
Monitoring/testing to ensure all website pages and links are properly functioning.
General web assistance with staff (assistance posting blogs, trouble-shooting post and coding issues, QAQC on postings, etc).
Requirements
Required Skills: Strong experience in HTML5, CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript for website content updates.
Desired Skills: Experience with Kentico CMS and Microsoft CRM
Desired Education and Experience: 3 years’ experience in front end web development, or professional front-end development certificate, or Bachelor’s Degree in web development, computer science or software engineering.
