Front End Software Engineer

Type: Full-Time (W2) On-Site/ Hybrid, Arlington, VA DeepSig Inc. is a venture backed and product centric technology startup building revolutionary wireless processing software solutions using cutting edge machine learning techniques to transform baseband processing, wireless sensing, and other key wireless applications. We are seeking a full-time front-end software engineer who will help lead development, design, planning, and testing of web applications and data visualization tools at DeepSig. These commercial and federal software products offer capabilities spanning RF sensing, modem development and machine learning training routines. We seek candidates who have strong software experience with building cohesive and intuitive web applications focused on providing a positive user experience. What You'll be Doing: Software development and interfacing with the software team to architect, design, and implement products using TypeScript, React, WebSockets, CSS, HTML5, and Redux. Working with product leads, R&D team, customers and the full spectrum of feature and prototype development, and work with production ML & DSP web-based applications. Working with rapid productization, test, and deployment of applied research software in a fast moving and small environment where you will touch systems end-to-end. What we need to see: A strong knowledge of software development and software engineering practices. Strong experience with TypeScript, React, WebSockets, CSS, and HTML5. Experience working with Redux, Python, Linux, Git, Docker, and modern CI/QA frameworks is a plus, as is previous experience working with or an interest in open-source projects and communities. Strong communication and teaming skills to work collaboratively and productively in a small company environment where we often wear multiple hats. Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering with at least three years of experience, or M.S. with at least one year of experience.
