Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform all required daily audit procedures and reports as set forth by OHM and the hotel.
  • Verify the status of all wake-up call requests and ensure they are properly handled.
  • Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift, ensuring accurate deposit of cash.
  • Prepare the front office for the daytime shift and reset the day's business.
  • Act as a Guest Service Representative and Manager on Duty during nighttime hours.
  • Attend and actively participate in all front-office meetings.
  • Participate in all training and cross-training programs.
  • Report to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
  • Embrace O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work well with, as well as motivate, a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Experience with relevant brand-specific PMS.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 2+ years of hospitality customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Hours

  • This role involves a 4-day work week, including two 3 PM - 11 PM shifts and two night audit shifts from 11 PM - 7 AM.

Physical Requirements Of The Position

  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.

Work Conditions

  • Inside work environment. Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
