Responsibilities
Coordinate shipments to guarantee prompt delivery between shippers and carriers.
Negotiate competitive contracts with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
Utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems for seamless communication.
Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to expand our customer base.
Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional relationship management.
Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency and meet service level agreements.
Drive sales initiatives by identifying new business opportunities and implementing effective strategies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive operations and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
Experience in negotiating contracts within the transportation industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems is advantageous.
