Freight Broker

HYC LOGISTICS, INC is a licensed customs broker and freight forwarder located in Memphis, TN. With over 70 years of experience, we specialize in assisting businesses with their freight import/export needs and ensuring efficient US Customs clearance. Our highly trained staff provides expert guidance on necessary tariffs, duties, and the proper declaration of commodities' values. We offer both domestic and international freight forwarding services, delivering goods from the exporter's location to the port or point of destination.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freight Broker at HYC LOGISTICS, INC. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing the import and export process of goods, including submitting necessary forms and procedures to US Customs. You will coordinate with customers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipping-related issues. This role is located in Memphis, TN, with flexibility for remote work.

• Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of logistics and dispatching
• Ability to effectively manage accounts
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using transportation management systems
• Experience in the transportation or freight industry is a plus
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus
