Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker Agent to join our team in a remote capacity. The Freight Broker Agent will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our freight brokerage services. This includes overseeing the brokerage of freight, providing top-notch customer service, dispatching, managing client accounts, and prospecting for new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Freight Brokerage: Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods using various freight solutions, including dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Dispatching: Efficiently dispatch carriers to meet client needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Account Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, handling their accounts with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Prospecting and Soliciting New Customers: Actively seek out and engage with potential new clients to expand the customer base.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the dedicated carrier sales team to ensure seamless operations and support for all freight movements.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any logistical challenges that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
• Reporting: Keep detailed records of all transactions and provide regular updates and reports to management.

• Proven experience in freight brokerage and logistics.
