Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Freelance Video Editor with 2-3 years of experience, preferably with an agency background, to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist on larger editing projects and also handle simpler edits independently. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, eager to learn and grow, and excels in storytelling. Basic animation skills are a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with editing larger projects, working closely with our lead editors and creative team.
• Independently complete simpler editing tasks, ensuring high quality and adherence to project guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and deliver on creative vision.
• Apply feedback and make necessary revisions in a timely manner.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Use storytelling techniques to create engaging and impactful video content.
• Incorporate basic animations and motion graphics as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of video editing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Basic animation and motion graphics skills (After Effects experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
