Flerish is a dynamic and innovative startup in the CPG beverage industry, dedicated to creating refreshing and health-conscious beverages that enhance our customers' lifestyles. We will be officially launching in Q4 2024. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Freelance Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role offers the potential to become a full-time Marketing Director and eventually be promoted to CMO.


The Team You’ll Work With

You will work directly with our CEO, Founder, Head of Strategy, and Head of Marketing. The Freelance Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in handling all aspects of Flerish's marketing efforts. This role is integral to building a highly inclusive culture where team members can thrive. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective leader, and have a strong track record of marketing success.


Job Description

This role is 100% remote with bi-quarterly travel to company offsite.


Strategic and Brand Development:

  • Brand Deck and Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand deck for Flerish.
  • Create and execute a go-to-market strategy for a new beverage brand.
  • Brand Identity Refinement:
  • Refine and enhance Flerish's existing brand identity.
  • Provide examples and case studies of successfully refined brand identities.


Influencer and Partnership Management:

  • Influencer and Partnership Ideas:
  • Brainstorm and develop influencer marketing strategies.
  • Identify and engage with potential brand ambassadors or partners.


Consistency and Visual Identity:

  • Ensuring Consistency Across Platforms:
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms and communications.
  • Target Audience Identification and Segmentation:
  • Identify and segment target audiences for Flerish using proven methods.
  • Visual Identity and Design:
  • Collaborate with designers to create a cohesive visual identity.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of logos, color schemes, and product labels.
  • Manage the creation of visual assets such as images, videos, and infographics.


Content and Storytelling:

  • Content Creation and Strategy:
  • Create tailored content for various platforms, including social media and our website.
  • Tailor messages for different audience segments.
  • Storytelling and Brand Narrative:
  • Develop and implement a storytelling strategy aligned with Flerish’s mission.
  • Create content highlighting Flerish’s history, mission, and vision.
  • Content Strategy Execution:
  • Plan and execute a content strategy that supports our marketing goals.
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies as needed.


Quality Control and Performance Tracking:

  • Content Review and Consistency:
  • Ensure all marketing materials are accurate, clear, and consistent.
  • Align all content with Flerish’s brand standards and ensure they are error-free.
  • Performance Tracking and Improvement:
  • Track and report on the performance of brand identity initiatives.
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of our messaging.
  • Gather feedback to refine marketing strategies and implement improvements based on performance data.


Team Collaboration and Goals:

  • Team Communication and Goals:
  • Organize and lead weekly team marketing calls.
  • Develop and align weekly marketing goals with the overall strategy.
  • Develop KPIs and track progress against them.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a marketing specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the CPG or beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of various marketing channels and strategies, including digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
  • Minimum availability of *10 hours per week*, with the potential for increased hours during key initiatives and launches.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation: Flerish’s compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate, with the potential for equity and full-time employment based on performance and company needs. Final offers may vary based on candidate's experience and expertise.
