About The Role
We are seeking a versatile Technical Producer for Studio Operations for our client to support the creation of high-quality educational video content. The ideal candidate will possess a broad technical skill set in video production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio recording. This role involves both independent and team-based work, covering in-studio shoots primarily.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Video Production (40%):
Conduct remote filming setups and recordings independently
Collaborate with studio technicians for in-studio shoots
Execute on-location filming, potentially with vendor support
Plan and prepare for filming with technical teams
Documentation and Communication (30%):
Maintain detailed filming logs and production notes
Communicate production insights and updates to internal stakeholders
Facilitate debrief meetings to address production complexities
Stakeholder Support (30%):
Guide and support speakers throughout the filming process
Address questions and concerns from speakers, ensuring adherence to project-specific nuances
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance production processes and training materials
Requirements
5+ years of experience in television/film/video production
Expertise in one primary area (preferably camera work) with strong skills in lighting and audio
Strong foundational knowledge of all key video production areas
Proficiency in video post-production processes for effective note-taking and footage logging
Ability to manage multiple technical responsibilities independently
Working Conditions:
Standard hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential travel or work outside these hours as needed
Physical requirements include lifting camera equipment and standing for extended periods during in-person shoots
