Purpose of Role
The Digital Fraud Analyst plays a critical role in identifying and deterring card not present fraud. This role is responsible for decisions on online orders placed on UA.com and UA.ca, and to protect the business from fraud and unauthorized transactions.
Your Impact
- Review, analyze, and decision on orders that are flagged for manual review using company fraud management system “Accertify” and other data validation tools
- Manage fraud review queue volume and complete detailed reviews in a timely and efficient manner
- Contact customers to validate purchase when necessary
- Analyze and identify links between fraudulent transactions to identify and stop fraud rings
- Maintain detailed order notes to include steps performed to support resolution of order
- Provide support to customer service leadership team on fraud related inquiries and customer escalations
- Identify training opportunities within customer service that impact fraud
- Support Retail UA Protect, Investigations, and DH teams on cross-functional investigations
- Represent Fraud Operations with integrity and professionalism
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring temporary seasonal fraud analysts
- Protect the business from non-traditional card not present fraud including but not limited to claims abuse, refund fraud, and affiliate fraud
- Be willing to take on additional tasks such as special projects, other duties assigned by Manager
- Bachelor’s degree or at least two (2) years of experience in e-Commerce fraud, payments, or customer service industry
- Working knowledge of Accertify or other fraud decisioning platforms is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, ever-changing environment
- Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once
- Must have strong analytical skills and have confidence in making decisions independently
- Fine-tuned organizational and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends and holidays
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
- Position Shift: Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday 9am-6pm EST
- Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), the remainder of work week remote
- No relocation provided
- $22.22 - $30.55 USD
