Prototype test flight completed, demonstrating full flight profile under SpaceBalloon to 100,000 feet and accurate splashdown 800m from the awaiting retrieval boat.

Twelve granted patents with ten pending, covering all critical aspects and functions of Spaceship Neptune providing strong mote.

The company has significant capital from lead investor Prime Movers Lab and other notable investors including LightShed, Balarion, Space Fund, 1517, Republic Capital, Base Ventures, GreenSands, YCapital, Kirenaga, Invariantes, Tony Robbins and Henry Kravis’ Stonecroft.

FP&A Sr. Manager/Director

Position Overview

The FP&A Sr. Manager/Director is responsible for driving financial planning and analysis efforts at Space Perspective. This role involves creating and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models, while also supporting investor relations activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or FP&A roles within the manufacturing industry. This position is onsite in Titusville, FL.

Role And Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to the executive team and board of directors.
• Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis on various business initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Oversee and improve the company's cost accounting systems and processes.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
• Manage the preparation of financial materials for investor presentations and communications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Mentor and develop a team of financial analysts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with significant experience in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Experience in investment banking or equity research is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
