The Career Opportunity:
The FP&A Manager is responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day functions of the PracticeTek FP&A team to ensure rapid and high-quality reporting and management of business intelligence and analytics.
The position is based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid work schedule (3 days per week in office).
Areas of Accountability:
Initially, have a hands-on role in building the EPM upto achieve the following objectives:
Rapid and agile financial and non-financial reporting of KPIs and full financial / business analytics
Financial modeling to allow for rolling forecasting, annual budgeting, variable scenario decision making
Workforce management and reporting
Web based inputs
Outputs that are both detailed / structured as well as visual
Participate in Project Harmony, ensuring the successful integration of salesforce, hubspot, Zuora to allow for high fidelity billing, collections and customer data management Operate closely with the SVP Finance in establishing PracticeTek’s customer cohort, including as a key leader in Project Harmony, ensuring the successful integration of Salesforce, HubSpot, Zuora to allow for high fidelity billing, collections and customer data management
Support FP&A Director in designing, implementing and maintaining reports, visualizations and dashboards for PracticeTek
Support the annual budgeting, forecasting processes
Participate in Rev Ops team
Manage FP&A team in delivering segment, cross functional, executive and external business support functions including:
responsible for data validation of all EPM systems, including reconciliation
monthly analysis and reporting,
annual budgeting,
preparation for external reporting (board, investor, lender)
Support preparation of Go-To Market analysis and data
Customer Cohort
CAC / LTV's
MER
Operate as Business Partner to several segment leaders as well as executive leaders (Technology, Support, HR, CEO / CFO)
Manage work force planning / monthly census reporting / new requisition requests
Competencies for Success:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
3-5 years of experience in finance
Experience in a company with a minimum revenue range of $100 million
Experience in SaaS preferably SMB
Experience with EMP build / implementation and management
Experience with dynamic modeling
Experience with data validation, visualization tools etc
Business support / cross functional model experience
M&A exposure
Must be a self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
At PracticeTek we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $49450-$135,000 for this position.
