Finance Manager at Adore Me

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Adore Me, Inc., a digital-first intimates apparel brand and recently acquired subsidiary of Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO), is seeking a top performing, self-motivated FP&A Analyst with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to play a critical role as we continue to build a world-class global finance function. This role will support strategic decision making and operational efficiencies through high quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. This is a unique opportunity to build public company finance experience while driving growth and scale within an independently operated, creative, tech-centric startup environment.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the FP&A Analyst will own key aspects of monthly financial and KPI reporting, assist in maintaining and continuously improving the company operating model, and serve as finance business partner to organizational budget owners. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail oriented, and comfortable prioritizing multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With an opportunity to join a growing global finance team and exposure to a wide array of areas across the business, you will acquire a robust toolkit of corporate finance skills to build relationships with business stakeholders and promote overall career growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the annual budgeting, re-forecasting, and long range planning processes including partnering with teams across the company to create dynamic, driver-based budgets and forecasts
  • Drive preparation of Monthly Business Reviews to present financial results, KPIs, and budget variances for key Adore Me and Victoria’s Secret leaders and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Technology and G&A teams to forecast, track, and analyze operating expenses and capital expenditures
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and drive cost optimization initiatives
  • Improve existing company-wide headcount planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Leverage financial and operational data to build detailed reports, drive actionable strategic insights, and support business decisions
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses for key stakeholders to support thoughtful and data-driven decision making
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting of financials through calculating accruals, proposing reclassifications, and performing variance analyses
  • Develop expertise in financial reporting and planning tools (e.g. NetSuite and other FP&A software platforms)
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of financial and operational data across various financial reporting systems and processes
  • Think critically about finance processes to drive automation, efficiency, accuracy, and other improvements both near-term and long-term

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in finance, accounting, or economics preferred
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, public accounting and/or FP&A
  • Subscription, e-commerce, and/or consumer product experience in a high growth start-up or technology company strongly preferred
  • Strong three-statement financial modeling and data manipulation skills, including building bottom-up analyses from scratch; expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and G Suite (Google Sheets, Google Slides)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and public company financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with accounting systems, and ideally FP&A or ERP software
  • Data guru with prior experience with visualization tools such as Looker Studio and/or PowerBI strongly preferred
  • An intellectually curious team player with a no-compromises approach to work quality
  • Proactive learner and owner who seeks out opportunities to contribute, thinks strategically about the business, and delivers insights and recommendations
  • Superior written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a hybrid-first environment (Mon, Tues, Thurs in NYC Tribeca office; Wed, Fri remote)

EXPECTED COMPENSATION RANGE:

  • The anticipated salary of this position is $100,000 - $125,000. The actual salary will depend on a variety of factors including the candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, and other job-related factors.
