What will I be doing?
Conducting pre-service orientation and training; as well as, in service training
Maintaining appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements
Assisting the Program Directors and Program Coordinator in “client match” meetings
Compiling and submitting application packet when all components are received and advising management on whether or not to proceed to the next step of the certification process
Developing and maintaining professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts
Maintain current licensed home, which include re-licensure packets and quarterly visits
Support the foster parents
Conduct and/or participate in any staffings
Am I a good fit?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess general computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services or related fieldsand three years of related experience
Foster Parent recruitment and/or Licensing - 1 year
Child Welfare Licensing Certification (CWLC) or a Child Welfare Case Manager Certification (CWCM)
Access to reliable transportation adhering to all FL Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver's license)
