Great opportunity for a recent grad to work for a leading cosmetic company. This job is looking for a formulation chemist who is eager to get started!


Location: Hunterdon County, NJ

Pay: $20-25 per hour

Type: Contract-to-hire


Responsibilities:

  • Develop prototypes for formula improvement, mainly dealing with enhancing physical and clinical properties as per project requirements
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of formula physical and clinical properties, aligning with project objectives
  • Select ingredients strategically to achieve desired formula outcomes.
  • Evaluate lab stability of formulated products to ensure consistent performance.
  • Assess lab aesthetics of formulations to meet quality standards and consumer expectations.
  • Prepare formulas for testing, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support formulation development and refinement processes.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Recent Chemistry graduate
