Footwear Designer- Senior Footwear Designer

Kith is currently seeking a Footwear Designer or Senior Designer to support the Special Projects team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Translate designs to CADs with sized artwork and detailed call outs
• Present color/material options
• Revise patterns and placed graphics
• Prepare printouts and files for weekly meetings
• Manage development and confirmation samples
• Review samples and relay feedback
• Organize mood boards
• Revise CADs and artwork
• Upload SKU information to PLM and tracker
• Update files on shared drives
• Build overviews for each collection

Special Projects/Tasks:

• Build trend and direction boards
• Attend vendor meetings
• Present boards to internal partners

Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in footwear design
• Strong Adobe illustrator skills
• Superior knowledge finalizing artwork for print production and building tech packs
• Knowledge of footwear materials as well as print and embroidery applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to critically think/problem solve in order to achieve higher product standards
• Strong organizational skills, to keep track of a variety of ongoing projects in a fast pace environment
• Bachelor of Arts – Graphic Design or industrial design/footwear design]

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, knowledge of keynote, background in building tech packs
• Production Art, graphic design, footwear
