Associate Footwear Designer - Gianni Bini Brand

Job Description:

• 3-5 years’ footwear design experience
• Work closely with lead designers, and provide support in all areas of design
• Ability to create technical sketches and hand sketches
• Strong technical skills to make footwear corrections and problem solve with technicians in foreign offices
• Research trends and assist with seasonal trend boards/presentations
• Proficient in creating CADs using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Create and maintain detailed spec sheets including proto specs, lot specs, and confirmation specs
• Create detailed tech packs complete with construction details
• Work cross functionally with production, pricing, customer service, and technical teams
• Communicate daily with foreign offices regarding product development
• Ability to adapt quickly in the design process to address new projects that arise
• Research and present new and innovative design ideas as well as identify opportunities in the market
• Ability to present the product line to the customer
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Miro
• Excellent communication skills, positive personality, collaborative mindset, team-oriented, strong multi-tasking ability, good time management and organizational skills
• Domestic Travel required / International Travel TBD
• Current structure is a hybrid WFH/in-person, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time in-person in Purchase, NY
