Footwear Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our dynamic team and company. Our company designs and manufactures all types of Athletic footwear for Men, Women, and Children for Several Brands, Labels, and Licenses at all Retail Levels over 40 Years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and present concepts for footwear and overall design direction for all customers. This would include materials and color stories. Develop and execute technical packages for development of Outsoles and Uppers. Ensure that the Product meets price point and communicates a strong merchandising story and meets all deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-5 years footwear experience

• BFA or BID in Industrial Design or Similar Degree

• Excellent drawing skills with clear 3D visualization

• Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office skills are essential

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong and creative presentation skills

• Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills

• Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

• Ability to travel for development trips

• Understanding of footwear construction and materials.
