SAGE Dining Services is seeking several food service workers to join our team of dedicated professionals.. We serve a warm community at a small Day School just north of Wrigleyville!
Our team is focused on a positive work environment and fantastic food. Our communities ranges from pre-K to 12th grade. We provide fun familiar food as well as culinary-forward menu items and events. Our team is most successful when staffed with dependable, motivated, positive team members. We have positions open at all levels and experiences.
Currently hiring for: Dishwashers, Line Servers, Prep Cooks, Cooks and Lead Cooks/Sous Chef.
Most of the need would be Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m but SAGE also provides exceptional dining experiences on a catered basis as well. Come get to know us and see what we have to offer!

What You'll Do
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
Assist in training new culinary Team Members.
Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
What You'll Need
Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
