To oversee the operation of the Dietary Department at RHA Howell Care Centers, Inc. to assure that food is prepared served in a safe manner, in accordance with RHA Howell Care Centers, Inc standards, State/Federal and Health regulations.

This position oversees the operation of the Dietary Department at RHA to assure that food is prepared served in a safe manner, in accordance with RHA standards, State/Federal and Health regulations

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepares budget information regarding food, materials, and staffing needs. Reviews and evaluates budget management of Dietary at the facility
  • Conducts in-service training and staff meetings for Dietary concerns
  • Monitors operation of the dietary department to insure that quality food is prepared and served in a correct and sanitary manner.
  • Maintains approved specifications of food and supplies purchases. Supervises preparation and service of food for special events.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years education in Food Service.
  • Three years of supervisor and large scale food production experience.
  • Degree in Food service, DMA or ASFSA Certified Preferred
