You will utilize fleet management tools to optimize fleet performance, safety, and cost-effectively to meet the organization’s fleet needs throughout the entire fleet. This will be completed by collaborating with branch managers, territory directors, safety team, and fleet management team.
Duties/Responsibilities
Implement fuel management strategies to optimize fuel efficiency, control costs, and reduce environmental impact.
Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations, including vehicle inspections, emissions standards, and driver licensing requirements.
Monitor fleet performance metrics related to maintenance, such as vehicle uptime, maintenance costs, and repair turnaround times.
Organizing & maintaining the fleet tracking devices such as Geotab.
Tracking when vehicles need replacement & working with fleet management to complete & maintain this process.
Collaborate with PGW safety team to acquire new & up to date safety features.
Evaluate fleet management process & work with our leaders to improve process.
Interact with fleet management company to produce useful reports to the team.
Required Skills/Abilities
Aptitude with communicating with various levels throughout the organization.
Excellent track record of providing superb customer service.
A “self-starter” who can seek our resolutions on their own.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office products-Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Proficiency in fleet management software & GPS tracking systems.
Willing to travel as needed.
Education And Experience
Associate degree preferred; high school graduate or G.E.D equivalent required.
