Fixed Income Trader

Seeking a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades within the fixed income markets on behalf of clients. This role requires a deep understanding of fixed income securities, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute fixed income trades accurately and efficiently in accordance with client instructions.
• Monitor market conditions and trends to identify trading opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties to ensure optimal execution quality and pricing.
• Stay informed about relevant regulatory changes and industry developments affecting fixed income markets.
• Provide timely and accurate trade confirmations and settlement instructions to clients.
• Assist in the development and implementation of trading strategies to achieve client objectives and maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 3 + years of experience in fixed income trading, with a focus on execution only trading preferred.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products, including bonds, treasuries, and derivatives.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and order management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold a FINRA series 7 license
• Must be bilingual English and Portuguese
