The Firearms Instructor is responsible for teaching established curriculum and adhering to class schedules. The Instructor is responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction with education offered. Additionally, the instructor will participate in retail sales as deemed appropriate by the General Manager.

Identifies current and future client requirements through established rapport while maintaining strong product educational knowledge and market trends in education.
Monitors class outcomes through evaluation reviews and personal observation.
Executes a sales pace that is commensurate with company goals.
Operational Excellence
Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal and health requirements.
Ensures the classroom and simulator facilities are maintained in a clean and safe manner
Facilitates special events and classes as directed, with enthusiasm, knowledge and keen customer service.
Reports to the Lead Instructor as to any operational issues that might need addressed.
Relationships
Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the entire organization.
Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key resources, including external vendors, trainers outside of FJ and clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ Key Competencies
Firm grasp of technology to execute accurate job function as it relates to class structure as well as Point of Sales systems
Teach classes as assigned
EDUCATION
Experience
High school diploma required, with college hours preferred.
Preferably 3-5 years firearms education, NRA Pistol Certification, USCCA Certification or equal.
Other
Normal overtime/extended work hours.
Must be able to physically audit and inspect all operations.
Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
