What you will do

  • Develop and drive transformational technology programs for Payment Products. This key leadership role is focused on building and maintaining software IP.
  • Be responsible for the strategic technology vision and the delivery of innovative products.
  • Lead a large global development team which encompasses onshore, captive offshore and contracting talent across business experts, architects, developers, and quality assurance.
  • Support our global direct sales force and client-facing organizations as the face for Technology Leaders.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure complete interlock on Product Roadmap and ownership of prioritization. You will work with our Professional Services organization to ensure we build software that can be efficiently implemented in a standardized manner.
  • Define and lead the architecture initiatives on the migration path from current to future state.
  • Own technology roadmaps that include as many short-term problem resolutions as possible, suitable for planning, prioritization, and investment decisions.
  • Solve identified architectural risks and conduct ‘in-flight’ correction where existing architectures fail.
  • Lead and develop technical professionals to ensure career growth and achievement of organizational goals - including interim and annual performance reviews.
  • Choose the right leadership, remove lower impact individuals, identify and solve talent gaps, and ensure talent is optimally placed.
  • Manage both supervisors and individual contributors, with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews in accordance with the target operating model and co-operate tiering structures.
  • Drive both off- and near-shore development in our global delivery centers.
  • Represent the organizational technical credentials to clients and prospects.
  • Exploit synergies across the architectural assets developed and available across the entire enterprise.
  • Champion the introduction of new architecture assets that have an impact across the entire enterprise, with a view to maximizing reusability, flexibility, and maintainability.
  • Act as an executive owner on selected client accounts
  • Provide application developers appropriate frameworks and support infrastructure to enable delivery of innovative products.
  • Communicate strategic and technological plans.
  • Design strategic solutions with cross-functional teams, focusing on integration, best practices and enterprise re-use.
  • Direct and enforce the standards for enterprise and system architecture.

What you bring

  • Good leadership and management experience. You must have led or participated in the definition and implementation of service offerings.
  • Good organizational, team building, coaching, mentoring, project and time management skills
  • Knowledge and expertise of the assigned practice area and related business
  • Long-term vision and executive presence
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success in building relationships
