About the Position:
The Financial Systems Manager will oversee the firm’s financial systems and manage the implementation of new software platforms and upgrades. In addition, they will be responsible for resolving end-user system issues, developing procedures & documentation, providing end-user training, providing software application support, and examining current procedures for automation. The ideal candidate should be a system expert in Elite 3E with strong experience managing Elite 3E integrations, process improvements, and end-user training. In addition, they should have a solid understanding of Accounting & Financial operations.
Category: Full-time permanent, exempt position.
Location: DC Metro area – Preference for local candidates (Hybrid, 2 – 3 days in-office per week). Open to out of state candidates if a strong fit.
Compensation: $135k – $145K based on experience with a performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the operation and maintenance of existing ERP systems (Thomas Reuters Elite 3E).
Manage the implementation of software platforms and upgrades to increase the efficiency of Finance & Accounting functions.
Resolve end-user financial system issues and provide software application support.
Coordinating with the IT department and various firm technology vendors regarding software support and utilization.
Develop procedures, documentation, and end-user training in coordination with the User Technology Support group.
Analyze current business processes, make recommendations for improvements, and manage the implementation of new procedures to increase the effectiveness of Finance & Accounting operations.
Manage the soft cost upload process, resolve related issues, and examine current manual procedures for automation.
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer or business-related fields.
8+ years of relevant experience within a Law Firm or Professional Services.
Advanced systems expert in Thomas ReutersElite 3E, including integration experience.
StrongMS Excel and SQL experience.
Experience managing 1 – 2 direct reports.
Ideal Characteristics:
A self-starter with drive, tenacity, enthusiasm, and high degrees of initiative.
Solid analytical technical skills in ERP software utilization and usage.
Thorough knowledge of Financial & Accounting operations and procedures.
Experience working within a Law Firm is highly preferred.
