Financial Systems Business Analyst

Position Overview: As a key player bridging the gap between our business vision, accounting/finance systems & successful IT execution, you'll be driving business analysis focused on improving systems, processes in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data validation, data migration functions for large-scale migrations for system conversions & growth functions
• Conducting business analysis, basic cost/benefit analysis, needs assessments aligning business initiatives with how we'll get there (IT solutions)
• Designing new tech solutions via analysis, workflow charts, diagrams, system capabilities & writing specs
• Writing, maintaining test plans, business requirements, functional specs
• Functional liason between IT Support, Accounting, App support, Developers & infrastructure for system enhancements, modifications & implementations
• Troubleshooting issues, providing solutions to help desk system, automating & eliminating manual processes and support requests
• Helping to improve processes by identifying process improvement opportunities, being creative to solve challenges & issues that arrise
• Aid in training and support when needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, computer science or related 3+ years of industry experience focused on IT business analysis, application support, technical accounting, QA testing ore related experience.
• Accounting principals & systems a must
• Yardi or related real estate or property management software is nice to have
• In-depth knowledge of both Accounting Principles & Project Management
• SQL queries & reporting experience
• Agile / Scrum environment experience is a big plus
• Confluence, Jira or related PM experience is a big plus
• Experience with Sage or Workday or related financial focus ERP is a plus
• Note, this is a Hybrid work opportunity (Tue-Thur in-office, Mon/Fri WFH) so must be in commuting distance to Orange County California or willing to relocate
