Brindley Engineering Corporation is a Lisle-based engineering consultancy seeking a Financial Service Associate. The Financial Service Associate will be expected to assist the Financial Services Manager with client specific timesheet and expense report requirements, project set-up, client invoicing, project management support, and accounts receivable reporting.
The successful candidate must be highly proficient with MS Excel in this data-driven position. Also imperative is the ability to achieve proficiency in Brindley’s ERP system, Deltek Vantagepoint. The candidate must be trustworthy with sensitive billing data, efficient, self-directed, and well-organized.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Navigating online platforms used for timesheets, expense reports, client invoicing, and client-related travel
Performing billing tasks, such as invoice creation, bill rate audits, and monitoring accounts receivable
Maintaining internal client databases and ensuring records are complete and accurate
Preparing reports from our ERP system
Assisting with client project audits and resolving discrepancies
Managing communication with project managers and clients via Teams or email
Providing administrative support to the Financial Services and Project Management functions
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field such as Accounting or Business Administration
Nominally requires 5 years of work-related experience
Proficiency in Excel; creating formulas, tables, and pivot tables
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and web-based interfaces
Exceptional time management and multitasking skills
