Studio71 is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented person that helps the business identify and drive growth/profitability from financial data, modelling, forecasting and business partnering.


Responsibilities:


  • Financial planning and budgeting (including 1 year budget and 5-year strategic plan)
  • Monthly estimates and bi-annual forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow)
  • Forecasting & predictive analysis, including investment tracking
  • Business partner with the wider teams to understand on-going and future financial activity, and translate that to financial information
  • Cashflow modelling and forecasting
  • Financial Risk Reporting for P7S1, including the associated modelling
  • KPI tracking including in-month performance updates
  • Identify and drive cost saving initiatives, or revenue opportunities


Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ work experience in FP&A and/or related accounting/finance fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Career path demonstrating a natural progression of increasing responsibility and promotion
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills; experience working with large amounts of data and a variety of informational databases.
  • Firm understanding of IFRS accounting principles (e.g. revenue recognition, labor capitalization, capitalizing and amortizing content production costs)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) advanced skills
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in the entertainment and/or technology industries a plus

Salary Expectations

Salary Range: $125,000 to $130,000 annually + benefits + bonus.
