The Position

As an FP&A Manager, you will be a key player on the FP&A team, partnering directly with budget owners, and key stakeholders to drive cost efficiencies and promote topline growth. Identify areas for optimization within current processes that promote scalability and minimize manual updating. Currently, we are in the process of implementing Adaptive Planning – this person will be crucial in assisting the team in building/ scaling its existing models in the system. You will be responsible for creating in-depth data analysis for OPSWAT, maintaining its key performance indicators, and other data trend analysis as requested.

The ideal candidate will be based in San Francisco and able to work from our office located at 398 Kansas St., near downtown San Francisco. We are also considering candidates based in Tampa able to work from our global corporate HQ located at 5411 Skycenter Dr., Suite 900 near the airport in Tampa.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing explanations for significant discrepancies.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis including trend analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
• Provide insights into business performance and strategic discussions based on financial data.
• Prepare, distribute, and present accurate and timely financial reports to key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and analysis.
• Assist in developing financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure financial stability.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, presentations and other projects as required.
• Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models with demonstrated proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
  
  
  

What We Need From You

• Background in analytical environments with Excel modeling experience (corporate finance/FP&A, accounting/transaction advisory, valuation, consulting, banking, corporate development, etc.).
• Minimum 5-7 years' working relevant role with experience in the SaaS industry.
• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models with demonstrated proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
• Hardworking with a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent communicator, and collaborator; service-oriented business partner to colleagues.
  
  
  

We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on location as outlined below, as well as the knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonus and benefits, and eligible for equity.

Base Pay Range: San Francisco Bay Area - $145,000 - $165,000.
