Position Overview: Financial Operations Analyst
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to join our team. This role supports our Accounting, Finance, and Operations functions and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute across various projects.
Responsibilities
Accounting and Finance (50%)
Assist with month-end close processes, including customer billing and revenue analysis.
Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and provide supporting analyses for monthly and quarterly reports.
Coordinate the preparation of quarterly packages for executive leadership, advisors, and investors.
Update and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for management meetings.
Administer financial models used for forecasting and budget-to-actual comparisons.
Support department managers with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide backup support for key accounting functions as needed.
Operations (50%)
Maintain and manage RedTeam's data warehouse and associated integrations.
Update and maintain data warehouse SQL queries to align with internal reporting needs.
Partner with sales operations to ensure effective implementation of sales tech stack.
Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, or similar roles.
Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.
Experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL preferred.
Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives, board members, and investors.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Technology or Software/SaaS industry.
Knowledge of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) markets.
