The Country Club, founded in 1889, is a family-centric, full-service country club that has played an important role in Cleveland’s history for over a century. About the Position

The Director of Finance, reporting to the General Manager, oversees all Accounting Department functions. This role involves managing accounting, auditing, budgeting, taxes, personnel, and reporting systems. Key responsibilities include controlling financial activities, developing financial procedures, preparing financial statements and analyses, and evaluating operating results.

About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CHAE or CPA preferred, MBA a plus) and at least five years of finance or accounting experience, including three years at a Controller level. Experience in clubs or hospitality is preferred but not required.
